Jaguar profits

...mostly get used to send Mark to Sweden inside the arctic circle on the pretense of testing cars in cold weather. I am very jealous! Check out some photos and a video of him "working" here

Bed News

He's fine - not fallen out or anything.

Here today... bed tomorrow.

The cot is dead, long live the bed. Owen moved into his new room with minimal fuss, there were no visa issues or currency exchange as the move was shorter than your average migrate, he just moved teddy and some books after Catherine had done the hard yards (well moved some clothes anyway). During the story reading he was very excited and spent most of the time sitting up and pointing at cars on the wall. Still, its eight o'clock now and we haven't heard any large owen sized bangs as he falls out so fingers crossed...

Keeping up with the Jones

Obviously after Sally had helped out with looking after Owen we felt we should do some childcare in return. Naturally we thought that some live opera would be ideal and stimulating to the growth of young minds. In the end we had to settle for the brain washing effect of the simpsons tempered by some fresh fruit. Sam ate nearly a whole pineapple so I pity the fool (Sally) who had to toilet him for the next 24 hours.

Double hard

It turns out that the hardest thing in the world is not Michael Corleone, Dad had to change the chain on his chain saw, then sharpen the new one after spending a day hacking up reclaimed railway sleepers from Eastern Europe. Still, despite the chain abuse we did manage to create a rather nifty raised bed (no treatment on the timber - fear not rabbit food lovers) for our new vegetable plot to complement the already planted and amusingly titled 'fruit corner'. Self sufficiency is but a growing season away.

We also managed a step...

Simpsons obsession

Owen has inherited his dads mild obsession with the simpsons. How do I know? Because he says Doh...

A spot of decorating

The kitchen floor was looking dull and old so Owen decided to add a splash of colour.
