Tom and Harry on the Isle of Wight steam railway.

Dad shows the boy the rudiments of engine workings and engages the driver in some in depth chat about the railway.

The best soft play ever... on a farm, hay bails with slides and even a tractor tire climbing wall. And petting a rabbit at the same place.

Holiday Snaps... pt 1

A week in the Isle of Wight with Mother/dad, Alice/Matt, Sarah/Tom/Harry. Our lovely holiday house... right on the coast...

Here's the spinnaker tower in Portsmouth from the ferry. We had a fantastic lunch on the way back right under the tower in Tootsies - good food, good view.

A golfing miracle

As part of our week on the Isle of Wight a round of golf was partaken in. Here's my tee shot into the 9th (of a nine hole course), a nice nine iron into the wind, stood up nicely and sat down 4ft short...inevitably I missed the ensuing putt.

Three random shots, the boy in new shades and hat. Only just understood that they make things less bright. One of him and Becca, and lastly one of him gardening on a hot day - why not wear wellies and a hat with a nappy, at least the wellies match the wateringcan!

A summer Saturday

A great day in the garden, we broke out the sandpit for the first time this year, and Owen finally wore his new hat - Go Sox.
